EXODUS 1:1-7 – These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob, each with his household: 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, 4 Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher. 5 All the descendants of Jacob were seventy persons; Joseph was already in Egypt. 6 Then Joseph died, and all his brothers and all that generation. 7 But the people of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly; they multiplied and grew exceedingly strong, so that the land was filled with them.

Exodus (צֵ֥את) – exit, departure.

Theos – Greek word for God
Theology = the study of God.
The entire Bible is about Jesus:
The theme of the OT is the Savior to come.
The theme of the NT is the Savior who has come and is coming again.
LUKE 24:27 – And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
LUKE 9:30-31 – And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah, 31 who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
PRACTICAL
1 CORINTHIANS 10:1-2 – For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, 2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,
1 CORINTHIANS 10:3-4 – …and all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:11 – Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.
