THE WHY WEEK 4 // GLORY – WHO ARE WE?

THE WHY – WEEK 4

GLORY – WHO ARE WE?

FEBRUARY 8, 2026

ISAIAH 55:8-9 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

PROVERBS 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

ROMANS 9:20 – But who are you, O man, to answer back to God?

ROMANS 9:20 – …Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?

ISAIAH 64:8 – But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

JOB 38:4-11 – “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, 7  when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb, 9 when I made clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, 10 and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors, 11 and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed’?

JOB 42:5 – I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.

PSALM 115:3 – Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

HABAKKUK 2:20 – But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.”

ACTS 2:23 – “…according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God…”

ISAIAH 53:10 – It was the will of the LORD to crush him (Jesus).

GENESIS 50:20 – As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

HABAKKUK 3:17-19 – Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19 GOD, the Lord, is my strength…
